Our systems and Climate Change
Aquaponics is a closed loop system used for growing almost anything that could be desired. Using innovations in; Alt energy generation, LED lighting, and micro device technology our systems have never been more productive. Furthermore these systems can help to address the footprint of food production on our climate by operating at a net zero carbon contribution.
-Here is how-
Reduced water consumption and contamination, by maintaining a closed loop system of irrigation.
Can be installed closer to retailers to reduce fossil fuels used in transportation.
Fight deforestation with a vertical growing structure allowing greater production per square meter.
Are enclosed and climate controlled to allow for food production anywhere in the world to help increase stability.
Internal generation of the power they need to operate independently from the grid.
Aquaponics vs Hydroponics
Aquaponics Systems;
1.5% water loss, 0% added fertilizer or pesticide, can create protein and produce.
Hydroponics systems;
5% water loss, 100% added fertilizer, allows for pesticide use, can only create produce.
